Structural Inspections

Foundation, Drainage, Roof, Flashing, Exterior and Interior Walls, Masonry, Doors, Locksets, Windows, Screens, Floors, Ceilings, Attic Framework, Ventilation, Gutters, Decks, Garage Doors, Fireplace, Gas Starters, Lintel, Flue, Dampers, Chimney, and Insulation. 

Mechanical Equipment Inspection

Heating and Cooling Systems, Filters, Ducts, Blowers, Pilots, Controls, Compressors, Condenser, Coil, Fan, Condensate Drain, Auxiliary Drain, Suction Line Insulation, Elements.

Built-in Appliances Inspection

Range, Oven, Vent-a-Hood, Microwave, Compactor, Dishwasher, Disposal, Garage Door Opener, Ceiling and Ventilating Fans and Heaters.

Plumbing Inspection

Water Supply, Drains and Vents (exposed), Kitchen, Bath and Utility Sinks and Faucets, Exterior Hose Bibs, Tubs, Showers, Whirlpools, Commodes, Hot Water Heaters, Temperature and Pressure Relief Valves.

Electrical Inspection

Service Entrance and Sub-Panels, Door Bell, Intercoms (radio only), GFI (Ground Fault circuit Interrupter) protection, Wiring, Switches and Outlets, Ceiling and Wall Fixtures, Ceiling Fans, Smoke Alarms, Dedicated Circuits, and Grounding.

Termite Inspection and Termite Treatment

All of our inspectors are also licensed through the Texas Department of Agriculture to do termite inspections. We can inspect for termite infestation as well as evaluate and identify areas that appear to be conducive to termite infestation.

All of these items and more are inspected, and a full detailed TREC (Texas Real Estate Commission https://www.trec.texas.gov/) approved report is generated and issued to you with any repair items listed in an easy-to-read manner. A digital copy of your report is kept on file at our main office if you should ever need it in the future.

3 inspections are done during the new construction process at key points during the building process.

• Pre pour inspection: This inspection phase is done a few days prior to the foundation pour.
• Pre sheetrock inspection: This inspection phase is done just before insulation goes in to check framing, electrical, plumbing lines, etc.
• Final Inspection: This final phase is done when the construction is totally completed and before the final walkthrough with the builder to help point out areas missed or areas of concern, etc.
